Experience the passion of the McKinney Community Band. Celebrating 20 years of musical excellence, community spirit, and artistic tradition.
Founded in 2005, the McKinney Community Band (MCB) began with a vision by Bill Sleeper and Ed Schwarz to bring wind band music to the historic city of McKinney. What started as a small gathering has blossomed into a full-scale concert band that is a pillar of the North Texas arts community.
Under the baton of Music Director Jeremy Kondrat and Director Emeritus Bill Sleeper, we perform a diverse repertoire ranging from classical masterpieces and patriotic marches to contemporary wind literature. Our mission is simple: to provide a welcoming environment for musicians to perform and to offer free, high-quality concerts to our community.
